What To ExpectYour First Visit To Oak Grove
We are very excited to have you visit and worship with us at our church!
Below are a few questions and answers you might have on your first visit.
Where Do I Park?
We reserve parking for guests in the parking lot, right in the front by the main entrance.
How Do I Dress?
Dress comfortably. Some attendees do wear their “Sunday best,” but many other people wear more casual and comfortable clothes. Don’t worry about what you wear – just come prepared to have a wonderful time of worship and fellowship.
What Do I Bring?
A Bible will help you to follow along in worship and Bible Study. If you have a Bible bring it with you to church. Our Pastor, Vance Nutt, refers to the Bible often in his messages. If you don’t have a Bible, or forgot to bring your Bible, Bibles are available in the back of every pew.
When Do I Need To Arrive?
Sunday services begin with Sunday School at 9:30 a.m and 6:00 p.m. Sunday Worship begins at 10:45 a.m. Arrive fifteen minutes before Worship/Sunday School time to allow for parking and entrance.
How Do I Find The Worship Center Or My Sunday School Class?
Greeters are at every entrance to help you get to where you need to be – they will direct you or walk with you.
Where Do My Children Go?
Oak Grove has excellent nursery, preschool and children’s ministries. We offer preschool worship care. We also have Sunday School classes that are offered for children of all ages. We care about your child’s health and security while at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church!
